Mr. Llorenç Benaches is in the last year of his studies in Physics and Chemistry double degree at Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He is working on his Bachelor Thesis on calculations of optical responses based on many-electron wavefunctions built using group-theory and beyond Hartree-Fock approximations. The objective is to understand the interaction of Jahn-Teller molecules with electromagnetic fields taking into account spin-orbit coupling.
